Hospitality
Canterbury Center Bed & Breakfast is very much our home and a small scale guest house. Lois will be happy to address individual needs, dietary or otherwise. We have plenty of off street parking space beside the barn, and guests are welcome to enter through the the back door from the carpark.
The historic house has been recently and lovingly renovated and restored. The four guest bedrooms are comfortable and clean, with their own en-suite bathrooms. Guests are welcome to relax in the large sitting room downstairs, where there are cookies and tea, and a complimentary glass of wine or sherry around cocktail hour. There are magazines and books to browse, jig saw puzzles and games for down-time.
Breakfast may be served between 6:30 am and 8:30 am during the week, and 7:00 to 9:00 am on weekends, depending on guests' preferences. There will always be Canterbury Granite Ledge rich and flavorsome coffee, or English breakfast tea, juice, fruit or a fruit smoothie, a hot dish using local eggs with bacon from the Fox Country Smoke House, or seasonal fruit baked in a delicious crisp with organic yogurt with North Family Farm Maple Syrup or Fen Ridge Farm fruit jellies.
There are many restaurants in Concord and surrounding area that we can recommend for lunch or dinner.
